About Us

A Journey Rooted in Flavor and Care

Hi! We’re Josh and Allie—partners in life, business, and slightly chaotic gardening adventures (with help from our mischievous golden doodles). Core Memories LLC was born in 2024 out of a love for learning, food, and living more intentionally.

Right now, we’re in the thick of building our very own heritage apple orchard, and we’re blogging every step of the way—not just to share the journey with you, but so we can look back and remember how it all began.

What started with a passion for apples has grown into a full-blown experiment in gardening, cooking, and homesteading. We believe food is the best kind of medicine—and that growing and preparing it yourself connects you to the process in a way nothing else can.

We post once a week on a rotating schedule, sharing orchard updates, gardening tips (failures included), and home-cooked recipes using the produce we grow. If you want even more behind-the-scenes content, fun facts, and seasonal recipes, be sure to sign up for our newsletter.

Have a recipe idea or a food experiment you want to see us try so you don’t have to? We’re all ears—send it our way!

Cultivation

We’re growing more than just apples here. Cultivation, to us, means tending to each area of our lives. It's about patience, care—and believing that the small things add up to something lasting.

Creativity

Creativity requires imagination, but it’s about more than ideas. We believe in sharing our ideas and experiments because the process—and what we learn along the way—is just as important as the outcome.

Connection

Food is about connection, and we are so grateful we get to share it with you— creating connections that last— through shared recipes. No matter where your kitchen table sits.
